Our Pre-Press department has always been a testament to the company's goal of investing in the latest technology available to serve our customers. By always staying abreast of the changing trends in available software and hardware, we believe we can offer the most satisfying environment for someone to produce their project.

Currently we are utilizing the Kodak Prinergy workflow that allows us to process native PDF files thru preflighting, ripping, and out to plate for production. Coupled with this workflow is the Insite system.  This web-based customer access portal gives customers a way to interact with our workflow 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. From initial upload to corrections and final approval, this system will grant you the unprecedented access to your project that most other printers will not grant you.  It saves the most valuable commodity you have - time.

Once files have been approved we then output to one of our two Kodak Magnus 800 CTP machines. With the ability to image 2400 dpi resolutions and linescreens up to 150, you can rest assured your files are receiving the highest quality output available. Partnered with the impressive speed output of these machines we are able to handle a work load of many thousands of plates every month.

Lastly, we believe in the use of scientific measuring that press profiling and color calibration provides.  All jobs have the option to have 2 types of proofing - imposition and contract color. We utilize Epson Pro 9880 model printers that have been calibrated to industry standard output.  From there, our plate curves have been created using measurements taken from the fingerprint profiling that has been done on our presses.
